Abadia Wedding – Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor
Looking back on April 14th, of 2017, we reminisce on the beautiful marriage of Xiomara & Pedro Abadia held at the Elegant Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor in Daytona Beach, FL. The couple are both of Puerto Rican descent, from Connecticut. It was by fate that they connected here in Florida, and fell in love. We were able to be a part of their wedding, that sealed the deal on their love.
The ceremony took place by the water, as the sun was setting – the absolute perfect time. Xiomara advanced down the aisle to Piano Guys’ rendition of “A Thousand Years”. The couple also chose to participate in the sand ceremony. Once they were pronounced husband and wife, everyone watched in awe as the couple walked back up the aisle, together, to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You”.
Cocktail hour was lively with our mix of mainstream music. Once the guests were seated, Mr. & Mrs. Abadia made their grand entrance while everyone sang along to ‘Despacito” by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee. They shared their first dance together to their chosen “Spend my Life with you” by Eric Benet & Tamia.
The highlight of the night had to have been the Hora Loca (Crazy Hour), kicked off with everyone’s favorite “Kulikitaka” by Tono Rosario. We kept the dance floor full playing a little of everything to satisfy every music palette, including Bachata, Merengue, Reggaeton & plenty of old school salsas. We closed off the night with Patrick Swayze’s “Time of my life”.
Let’s take a look back in time, through the time machine that is these beautiful photos captured by Laura Denise Photography.
We would like to thank Xiomara & Pedro for allowing us to be part of their special day. Although it was almost 3 years ago, we still look back and reminisce on how awesome of a wedding it truly was.
We wish them all the happiness in their marriage now & forever!
