Hernandez Sweet 15 – Crystal Ballroom at Veranda Park

We L O V E Quinceaneras – better known as Sweet 15’s. A Quinceanera (Sweet 15) is the celebration marking a 15 year-old girl’s transition from childhood to womanhood. Earlier this year, we got to be a part of Aaliyah’s special coming of age party. Traditionally, it begins with a ceremony, with the quinceanera’s mother, father, godparents, and all family and friends are invited. Followed by the ceremony is everyone’s favorite part – THE PARTY! Various symbolic actions are performed, such as her father changing her shoes from a ballet style flat slipper or a sandal to a high heel – to represent her becoming a young woman, her dance with her father followed by a walk around the room – to represent his role as the first man in her life, and the presentation of his daughter to society as a young woman, and the presentation of roses – one for each influential person in her life. We are very thankful to Rafael & Monica for allowing our team to be a part of such a special day in their daughter’s life.
